Lorella Jeanette Gallegos died peacefully at The Homestead at Montrose in the early morning of February 13, 2017 in Montrose, CO. She was 69. Lorella was born May 3, 1947 in Silverton, CO to Julian and Lucille Gallegos.  Lorella babysat and helped raise several nieces and nephews, as well as her little sister, Tracy Frank.  She loved her family dearly. Those that had the pleasure of knowing her, knew she was always talking about "her family" and was very proud of them.  She had unconditional love for everyone close to her.  Lorella was always smiling and it was one filled with love.  She had many angels in her life that helped throughout the journey.  We will be forever blessed to have seen her many acts of kindness and love for everyone she met. Later, Lorella went through 16 years of dialysis, but she was always happy, positive, and maintained a great attitude.

Surviving family members blessed and honored to share Lorella’s life, are four brothers:  Iven Gallegos, of Montrose, Colorado; Julian Gallegos of Durango, Colorado; Victor Gallegos and wife Cheryl, of Montrose, Colorado; Doyle Gallegos and wife Cathy of Herndon, Virginia; three sisters:  Mercy and husband Eppie Espinoza, of Montrose, Colorado; Diane and husband Jim Gurule, of Phoenix, Arizona and Tracy and husband Jason Frank, of Montrose, Colorado and many nieces and nephew’s that she loved very much.
